The Commission of the African Union hosted a roundtable discussion with the Commission for Africa on 2 May. The Commission for Africa was represented by Commissioners Meles Zenawi, K.Y. Amoako and William Kalema, along with Graham Stegmann, (UK Dept for International Development-representing Hilary Benn) and Myles Wickstead, Head of the Secretariat. The meeting was an opportunity for the members of the Commission for Africa to present the Commission report to the African Union Commission, and to discuss some of the recommendations, taking account the strong support in the report for the role of the African Union.
