11 May - Spanish Foreign Ministry Seminar on Sub-Saharan Africa - Tenerife, Spain

On 11 May, the Commission's report was presented and debated as part of a special seminar hosted by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Government of the Canary Islands. The event also included speeches by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Development Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaube, and Secretary of State for International Cooperation, Leire Pajin, Iraola.

Participants included Spanish Ambassadors accredited to African countries, African Ambassadors accredited to Spain and a wide range of develoment experts.
