The Francophonie Summit, attended by Heads of State and Governments of the International Organisation of Francophonie took place between 23-27 November in Ouagadougou chaired by Minister Saada of Canada.
As part of the Commission for Africa's consultation
with Francophone countries, the Canadian Government
hosted a discussion on 25 November within the margins
of the Summit. The Summit brought together top level
participants, including representatives from Africa.
The meeting was attended by Mr Ian Richards representing
the Commission for Africa and provided an opportunity
to consult Ministers and senior representatives on
the priorities for the Commission.
