Fola Adeola led a series of consultation and discussion events in Nigeria and Senegal between September and December 2004. These meetings brought the views of rural women’s groups, youth groups, and civic and business leaders into the Commission’s debate.
In addition Fola Adeola convened a specific regional meeting to look at issues relating to the culture and participation theme and a roundtable meeting of academics and policy makers which generated a number of valuable essay submissions. |
